Kamarek Detained While Land Owners Are Still DPOs, This Said Kasat Reskrim Inhil District Police

ARB INdonesia, INDRAGIRI HILIR – Kamarek, 60, was previously sentenced to 6 years in prison with a 3 billion fine and 6 months in jail by the Panel of Judges of the Tembilahan District Court, Indragiri Hilir Regency (Inhil) – Riau, on February 10, 2020.

In that case, the Panel of Judges considered that Kamarek was proven guilty of having participated in clearing land by burning.

In the facts revealed in the trial, the defendant Kamarek was a subordinate who worked under the command of H Pewa. the one who should be responsible for the incident is H Pewa.

While H Pewa is still stated in the People’s Search List (DPO).

When interviewed by the media crew, related to the DPO follow-up handled by the police, Inhil Police Chief, AKBP Indra Duaman Siahaan, through the Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Indra Lamhot Sihombing stated that currently the special team that handled the case was still investigating the DPO.

“To illustrate the existence of a DPO already exists, hopefully in the near future it can be caught.” Kasat Reskrim said when interviewed after Gempar held a peace rally on Thursday (2/27/2020). (Arb)
